I refreshed my lab’s supply of gel combs with several sizes of the RapidCast Combs. After discovering that our previous combs were discontinued, I was pleased to see that these were compatible with our 12cm x 14cm gel electrophoresis systems. My lab runs gels at a high volume, so we are happy to have these high performance combs.
We are surprised by the contrast and image quality, especially if you use the black hood box attached during the purchase and take a photo with your phone. Highly recommend!!!
Transilluminator works great, illuminates bands in gels very well as well as red and green flourescently tagged bacteria and red and green flourescently tagged root nodules. Device was shipped quickly and arrived on time. Great customer support as well!
