The Benchmark Scientific MyFuge™ 5D Digital Mini Centrifuge (C2205) is a compact, versatile laboratory centrifuge designed for 5 mL centrifuge tubes, standard 1.5/2.0 mL microtubes and common blood collection tubes.
Its combination rotor accommodates multiple tube formats without requiring a separate rotor for routine 5 mL and microtube applications. Digital speed control allows operation up to 5,500 rpm / 1,690 × g, while built-in RCF conversion lets users set and display speed in either RPM or RCF.
With a compact footprint, digital timer and broad tube compatibility, the MyFuge 5D is well suited for laboratories that need more flexibility than a traditional fixed-speed mini centrifuge.

Digital Speed and RCF Control
The MyFuge 5D provides digital control up to 5,500 rpm, corresponding to a maximum RCF of 1,690 × g. Built-in RCF conversion allows speed to be set and displayed in either RPM or RCF.
Versatile Combination Rotor
The included rotor supports:
- 4 × 5 mL centrifuge tubes
- 4 × 1.5/2.0 mL microtubes
- 4 × 1.8–5 mL blood tubes measuring 12 × 75 mm
The rotor accommodates both 5 mL snap-cap and screw-cap centrifuge tubes.
Compatibility with Blood Collection Tubes
Adapters for common 12 × 75 mm blood collection tubes are included, expanding the centrifuge beyond traditional microtube applications.
Digital Timer
Run time can be digitally controlled from short spins through extended runs, with a timer range up to 99 minutes and 59 seconds.
Compact Benchtop Design
At approximately 7.6 × 9 × 4.72 inches, the MyFuge 5D provides multi-format tube capability while occupying relatively little laboratory bench space.
Safety Interlock
A lid safety interlock stops centrifuge operation when the lid is opened.
