Trypan Blue Stain 0.4% – Cell Viability & Cell Counting Reagent
Trypan Blue Stain 0.4% is a vital dye used to assess cell viability by distinguishing viable from non-viable cells. Viable cells remain unstained (colorless), while nonviable cells take up the blue dye. This product is ideal for cell counting applications using LUNA brightfield counters.
T13001 - Trypan Blue Stain 0.4% 2 x 1mL/200 tests

FAQ
Why use 0.4% concentration?
The 0.4% Trypan Blue is standard for viability tests. Lower concentration may under-stain non-viable cells; higher concentration may increase background.
Can I use this with LUNA™ Brightfield counters?
Yes. It is fully compatible with the LUNA™ II, III, FL, BX7 and FX7 counters.
How long can the dye be stored?
Refer to the MSDS / CoA for details. Once opened, avoid contamination; sterile-filtered version helps in such cases.
