Benchmark PlateFuge Microplate Centrifuge

Give PCR plate spin-downs a dedicated place on your bench with the Benchmark PlateFuge C2000 Microplate Centrifuge. Compact and straightforward to operate, it brings droplets down to the bottoms of plate wells at a fixed 2,550 rpm and 600 × g—with an included swing-out rotor and two plate carriers.

Use the PlateFuge for compatible skirted, semi-skirted, and non-skirted PCR plates, as well as most microtiter plates up to 25 mm high. Its dedicated plate format lets you reserve a larger general-purpose centrifuge for other work while keeping a plate spin-down instrument close to where you prepare samples.

A loading design built around microplates

The plate carriers rest at an angle for loading and swing into a horizontal position during the run. Electronic braking brings the rotor to a stop in approximately four seconds, allowing you to remove the plates and move on to the next step.
